Brand-new animated experience brings a magical world to life on the Oculus Rift.
Production company Gentleman Scholar has entered the world of virtual reality with its latest experience which uses the Unreal Engine 4 to let players explore a magical world, and you can download the game for free by clicking here.
With an animated introduction that mixes 2D animation with CG graphics, Truffle Pig is already an impressive experience before the interactive game has even begun. You can see a trailer above which demonstrates the impressive visuals and artwork created by the team, before some brief snippets of gameplay reveal how the game itself works.
There are two parts to the game: the first is a simple viewing experience that guides the player along a clearly defined path, while the second lets them explore the world of Truffle Pig at will. Along the way they can expect to find everyday objects shattered and floating mid-air, foliage that reacts to their presence and some amazingly creative graphics that are likely to tax all but the fastest super PC.
